To begin with the repair steps as suggested by Microsoft to resolve Microsoft problems with your photo editor feature, you first need to uninstall the same program from your computer by heading for the “Start” menu, then the “Control Panel” link to get to the “Add or Remove Programs” option.
After this, locate your Microsoft Photo Editor application from the list of installed programs then select “Remove” followed by “Yes” to confirm.
Now insert your Office XP CD into your CD/DVD Drive and hit on “Next” on the wizard that gets newly displayed. However if not, Microsoft suggests you select Windows “Start” menu then launch the “Run” application.
Computer support from Microsoft says to Type “drive:\Setup.exe” into its displayed text field then “Open” followed by replacing “drive” in the previous command with the letter of your CD/DVD Drive.
Select “Customize” when the wizard asks you for which type of installation you wish to perform followed by hitting on the “Not Available” option for each portion of the “Selecting features” screen.
Next up, click on the “+” sign next to “Office Tools” from your “Features to Install” screen. And then select “Microsoft Photo Editor” and choose “Run from my computer”.
